Why Fox & Company D.J. Service? Mike Fox has been in the business
of music and
entertainment for many years . He's worked in England, Denmark, Spain,
Switzerland, Thailand,
Greece, Egypt, Hong Kong. A former radio
personality, Mike has worked on local stations Power 97,
97.1 The Point, KMZQ and KWNR.
Over the past ten years,
Mike Fox & Co. have earned a reputation for class, reliability, and
professionalism. Mike Fox & Co. are preferred vendors at prestigious Las Vegas
hotels and
establishments such as Bellagio , The Four
Seasons, and Wynn Las Vegas
What kind of
music do you play?
The kind you want. From Glen Miller to
Madonna to Metallica and
beyond. We also subscribe to a service that provides us with edited -for-radio
versions of today's
current hits. Customize your own play list using our
online music database!
Can we bring our own C.D's ? Hopefully that won't be
necessary. We take pride in an excellent
music library, but if you want to bring some music, please do.
What kind of equipment do you have? A variety of brand name ,
professional
sound & lighting equipment. Cerwin Vega, Electrovoice, Rane, Shure, Denon,
Numark, Crown,
QSC. Quality and reliability are topmost criteria when purchasing
equipment, not price.
Do we meet with you before the event? We are happy to meet with you
before the event.
If you're a busy person or from out of town, we can do all we have to via fax,
phone or e-mail.
What are the D.J' s like? We require a minimum of at least two years or
100 events, before
we consider someone experienced enough to join our company. All our D.J's are
certified 'low cheese'' !! Flexibility is the key, whether you need someone to
motivate a crowd
with
games and participation, or a master of ceremonies who can co-ordinate an
elegant
wedding, we send the right person to the party.
What do the D.J's wear? Attired as required. Black tie for formal
occasions, Hawaiian shirts
for Luaus, business casual for less formal affairs, or in costume if yours is a
themed event.
Will the D.J. make announcements? An important part of the D.J's
job description is
to take charge and make sure that everybody knows what's going on. From the
Grand
entrance of a wedding, the candle-lighting ceremony of a bar or bat mitzvah, or
the raffle at a company picnic. It's the D.J's job.
Should we tip the D.J?
Always appreciated, never expected. If you feel that a tip is in order,
5% to 10% would be appropriate.
Is it alright if a family member or friend
makes the formal announcements? Yes.
It's a tradition in some families,
particularly people from Canada or Hawaii. We'll
gladly supply a wireless mic. to the person
you choose to make the announcements.
